OMS is a field that uses the optimization and analysis methodologies of Operations Research (OR) and Management Science (MS) to improve and optimize the operational processes and related decision-making of various industrial systems. From the perspective of application, research is conducted in various fields that are not limited to specific industries such as manufacturing, logistics, service, and energy systems, and from the perspective of methodology, research is conducted to develop theoretical models and practical technologies using mathematical optimization, simulation, data analysis, and artificial intelligence as tools.
