Welcome to Urban Environment and Disaster Studies / Environmental informatic ・ GIS Laboratory As the frequency of abnormal weather due to climate change, and the occurrence of natural disasters and social catastrophes are increasing, building a safe and resilient society is becoming more crucial. Our laboratory is conducting research to improve disaster management abilities by reducing disaster vulnerability and improving disaster resilience. In addition, we are contributing to building a sustainable community from disasters by implementing management policies and plans, urban spatial structure analysis using GIS, urban environmental impact analysis based on climate change, and regional vulnerability and resilience analysis.
