연구실 소개

Our lab research interests have been focusing on chemical genomics, a new research paradigm that utilizes biologically active small molecules to accelerate the study of biological functions of genes and drug discovery. To develop this new research engine, we have established three major research fields as follows: (1) Discovery of natural or synthetic small molecules with phenotype activity (2) Targetidentification and validation of bioactive small molecules (3) Integration of -omics technologies toward innovation in drug discovery. Based on this integrated approach with chemistry and biology, Our goal aims to deeply understand the biological systems and to apply this insight towards novel drug discovery.
