연구실 소개
Smart City & Infrastructure AI monitoring Lab (SCIAL) lab aims to enhance the sustainability and safety of the urban environment, by focusing on developing smart sensing and AI-based infrastructure monitoring technologies. Specific research topics include 1) Non-contact sensing and monitoring technologies (Computer Vision, Laser, and Lidar Sensors, etc.), 2) Forensic analysis methods using digital twin models, 3) Data augmentation technologies using synthetic environments (including AR and VR), and 4) Machine learning algorithms for integrity forecasting. Dr. Kim’s research laboratory aims to evaluate the serviceability and integrity of urban environments by understanding the usage of infrastructure during their life cycle.
