연구실 소개

This institute focuses on research related to state-of-the-art aircraft, spacecraft including satellites, and launch vehicles. Furthermore, it emphasizes deriving and proposing future-oriented new technologies. Professors specializing in aerospace engineering, in collaboration with other fields such as mechanical engineering and electrical and electronic engineering, are at the core of various government-led large aircraft development projects, such as the Korean Helicopter Development, and industry-academia cooperation research, building sufficient capabilities required by the aerospace engineering field. Additionally, the institute actively participates in multi-purpose satellite projects and scientific satellite launch vehicle development, and conducts numerous government-planned research, playing a significant role in establishing future Korean aerospace development plans. It also focuses on nurturing world-class talent by providing in-depth aerospace engineering education to master's and doctoral students, allowing them to actively participate in numerous research projects that require both theory and practice, thereby gaining thorough research experience.
