연구실 소개
The Transportation & Logistics Optimization Lab, affiliated with the Department of Industrial Engineering at Yonsei University, conducts research on solving various industrial and social problems using optimization and artificial intelligence technologies. Key research areas include: logistics hub and last-mile delivery optimization, electric vehicle charging infrastructure construction and operation optimization, disaster relief material distribution and evacuation operation optimization considering fairness (Equity), accessibility-based route optimization for wheelchair users, digital twin-based integrated industrial complex management platform development, manufacturing process scheduling optimization, and carbon emission reduction algorithm development. In addition, it is focusing on developing infrastructure construction and operation platforms for next-generation transportation systems reflecting shared economy, electric vehicles, delivery robots, and delivery drone autonomous driving technologies. Recently, research achievements have been recognized through numerous academic papers and patents, and the lab contributes to solving problems in actual industrial sites through cooperation with companies and institutions.
