The Advanced Nanocatalyst Design Lab (ANDL) at POSTECH is committed to advancing the frontiers of heterogeneous catalysis through innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration. Our research philosophy focuses on bridging fundamental science with practical applications to develop catalysts that address both current and future challenges in the energy and chemical industries. By integrating advanced synthesis techniques, cutting-edge surface science and data-driven methodologies, we uncover the intricate relationships between catalyst structure, composition and performance. Our goal is not only to improve catalytic efficiency and selectivity but also to contribute to global sustainability by developing environmentally friendly processes.
