As a human-computer interaction (HCI), computer-supported cooperative work (CSCW), and Health researcher, I examine how health monitoring technology can better account for infrastructural complexity of clinical and public health care. My research approach encompasses understanding how stakeholders use existing health monitoring tools through interviews, surveys, and log analysis; developing prototypes to explore novel design ideas; and evaluating these designs through real-world field deployments.
