Technology Management (TM) is the field of effective planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of technological capabilities necessary to achieve organization's strategy and operational goals. TM is concerned with the planning, management, and evaluation of technologies/projects/products/businesses to increase the likelihood of market success while utilizing the organization's limited resources efficiently, and it can ultimately contribute to its sustainable growth. TM uses various methods, from traditional statistics and econometrics to patent analysis, data mining, and AI for technology prediction, technology/project/product/business evaluation (including feasibility analysis), user experience analysis, consumer preference analysis, etc.
